PE Achievements!
The Maryhill under 16 football squad have made a fantastic start to the new school year. Robert Elsby 11DP scored to give Maryhill a 1-0 result against Clough Hall. Luke Shelley 11MJL and Connor Heath 11LCL provided equal success with a 2-2 draw to Clayton High School. What a great start to the season. This terms squad is:
Jack Jones 11CR, Robert Elsby, Harley Braddock-Cooper 11DP, Joe Donaldson, Cameron Kirk 11JW, Joshua Jackson, Callum Hulme, Connor Heath 11LCL, Luke Shelley, Alexander Robson 11MJL, Daniel Vickers 10CC, Korey Hallet-Blanch 10DN and Matthew Davis 10IN.
In cross country, both the under 14 and under 16 teams have been in action. MHS have had two races so far this school year; one at Chesterton and the other at Sir Thomas Boughey and both teams did fantastically in both. Congratulations to Callum Hulme 11LCL who won both under 16 races!
This term’s under 16 squad is:

This terms under 14 squad is:

United Dance Organisation High School Street Dance Championships
The Maryhill Dance team took part in United Dance Organisation High School Street Dance Championships at Fenton Manor on 9th/10th October 2010. The team came 6th overall and Demi Dawson 10KB came 3rd in the solo competition.
The girls performed in workshops with Marcquelle Ward from Britannia High and Chuck. They also saw performances from Reconnected, Vice and A3.
The girls were: Carley Mack, Lucy Simms, Kim Thorley, Steph Rushton, Emma Bowers, Demi Dawson, Grace Eaton, Holly Carter, Phoebe Sammon, Robyn Waterhouse and Annalise Potts.
