Sixth Form students studying Law, Psychology and Sociology went to London on a residential visit where students attended the Discover Parliament programme at the Houses of Parliament. Students were given a guided tour of the Palace of Westminster, providing them with the context for learning about the work and role of Parliament. They then attended a workshop followed by a debating session with Baroness Warwick of Undercliffe where our students eloquently discussed current issues with her and students from other schools.
The Social Science department are hoping to organise another visit to the Capital in 2010-11.
