Clip-on ties are successfully phased into the Maryhill uniform.

The new clip-on style tie has now been successfully phased into the present uniform for a full school year. Last September’s new Year 7 are the second annual intake to incorporate the clip-on tie into their uniform, meaning that the traditional tie will be phased out at KS3 with the 2011 Year 7 intake. The new Year 10 have completed the change in KS4, meaning that the old style ties are now removed from all KS4 uniform. The clip-on tie is safer than the traditional style and provides a high standard of appearance for the wearer. All new and replacement ties will be clip-on style.
